PPI Refunds UK helps Andrew Flinder recover £7,699.04
The Client:
Name: Mr Andrew Flinders
Agreement: Credit Card
Lender: MBNA
Complaint: Mis sold PPI
Outcome: Successful Payout – £7,699.04
Mr Flinders called us in July 2010 about the PPI policy on his credit card with MBNA.
From Claim To Case:
Mr Flinders spoke with Sarah, one of our claims advisors, wondering whether he might have a hidden PPI policy in his credit card agreement. Sarah explained that mis sold PPI had been included in many credit agreements and the only way to know for sure whether he had a hidden policy was to get the original paperwork from his lender.
Mr Flinders was happy for us to handle his PPI claim and requested we send out permission forms. Sarah popped in a few extra forms for Andrew after discovering he may have PPI policies hidden in other borrowings. It’s a good job she did because once we had all the paperwork back, we discovered Mr Flinders had FOUR potentially mis sold PPI policies.
With the permission forms back, Sarah was able to start the PPI claims cases (plus two more unfair charges cases) and handed everything over to our legal team.

From Case To Payout:
On 5th August 2011, Sarah received some great news on one of the cases; MBNA had made an refund offer for mis sold PPI premiums paid by Andrew. Once the figure was through, it was clear that MBNA had made a full refund offer of all payments made towards the PPI policy in the credit card agreement. Mr Flinders was in for a pleasant surprise!
So, how much did we win for Mr Flinders (and what’s he spending it on!)?
In total for this one case, Mr Flinders received a full mis sold PPI refund of £7,699.04. But what will he be spending it on? Well, we were cheeky enough to ask and apparently it’s going towards a long-held ambition to get driving lessons, plus there’ll be home improvements and a villa holiday for his parents. Lovely.
