PPI Refunds UK helps Mr P. Earnshaw recover £7,661.38
The Client:
Name: Mr P Earnshaw
Agreement: Loan
Lender: First Plus
Complaint: Mis sold PPI
Outcome: Successful Payout – £7,661.38
Mr Earnshaw took out a loan with First Plus on 18th October 2006 and called us in late March 2010 believing he had a legitimate PPI claim.
From Claim To Case:
Mr Earnshaw spoke with Adam, one of our claims advisers, who got some details about the loan and sent out the forms required to start a case. Mr Earnshaw returned the forms promptly and Adam was able to start the case on 8th April 2010.
From Case To Payout:
First Plus is part of Barclays who announced in June 2011 that they would pay back customers who had been mis sold PPI on a no quibble basis. Unfortunately, this case was handled over a year ago when Barclays were very much quibbling! That said, our legal team got to work on Mr Earnshaw’s case and on 30th September 2010 Mr Earnshaw was given the good news.
So, how much did we win for Mr Earnshaw?
In total, Mr Earnshaw received a full refund of £7,661.38, placed in full, straight into his bank account.
